H: Would it be possible for me to talk to someone who already has a Goldseal conservatory and/or view a Goldseal conservatory?
This is of course possible as we do understand that there is no substitute for seeing the standard and quality of the end product. We would be happy to arrange a viewing and/or telephone call at your convenience. We are sure however, that you will understand that we would need a little time to contact the necessary customers in order to arrange mutually convenient times/viewings etc.
I: My friends had a conservatory built and their front garden was destroyed by careless storage of and use of building materials etc. This is a major concern to me – can you reassure me?
We always cover and protect all walkways and used areas. Where materials are stored, we would use ply boarding and make sure materials are stored for a minimum period of time. This is achieved by careful forward planning by our Project Manager. In addition, the use of our Durabase conservatory construction system. virtually eradicates the need for the use of heavy machinery which is the main cause of possible damage/disruption to patios and garden areas.
J: Does your company “job-hop” between my house and others – I want my conservatory finished in the minimum time. Will there be week or month long gaps between stages of the build?
We endeavour to operate a continuous process once on site. The only gap in time that may occur from the start to finish process is that between the base completion and roof and window erection. This is because the base needs time to “cure”, i.e. dry out before the fixing process can commence. Generally this takes between 1 – 2 weeks (weather permitting). However, as the whole process is project managed from start to completion, we can assure our customers that the building process is managed accurately and your conservatory is manufactured in advance of the building work being completed. This means that there will be minimum disruption and delay to completion. However, this can be virtually eradicated by the use of our Durabase conservatory construction system.
K: Can I have a bespoke Conservatory/Orangery, budget permitting?
Goldseal offer a completely bespoke design and build process. Budget and Planning Permission permitting, Goldseal can design a bespoke building to suit our customers exact requirements in either hardwood or PVC-U. Our designer will work with you to show you a CAD drawing of your proposed conservatory prior to any commencement of works. Tiling designs/options, heating, air-conditioning, electrical works etc. can all be arranged to suit our customers individual needs and requirements.
